"We got married on the 14th October 2017 after a 6 month engagement. Neil lived up in Glasgow and I was living in Stranraer, so it’s fair to say it was an intense 6 months to pull all the plans together. I called into Green Valley one Sunday lunchtime to see if there was any availability to have our wedding reception there as I had heard it was very popular and the service provided was amazing. The venue was still decorated from a wedding the previous night and it looked stunning. I knew then that it was ideal for us. Perfect size, location, atmosphere and the interior decoration of the function room was way over and above any of the expectations that I already had.
Unfortunately the date we had initially hoped for was not available (understandably so at such short notice) We started to look at other venues that were available on our date, but I was always disappointed, and kept comparing everything to the perfection that I had seen at Green Valley. I took Neil there to show him a few weeks later, and he agreed immediately that it was perfect for us. So much so, we changed our date to suit…..and we are so glad that we did!
From start to finish, dealing with Hugh and Stephen was easy! So so easy! We met up a couple of times to go through all our requests and preferences. They were so down to earth, and advised us of all the different things that they could provide. Nothing was a problem, and they listened to and cared about everything we were saying. They are complete naturals at what they do! As the time very quickly drew nearer and our time was neither of our own, Hugh, Stephen and Jason took care of our evening reception regarding decoration and services that were to be provided. It felt like a great weight had been lifted off our shoulders knowing that this was all being taken out of our hands so confidently, enthusiastically and willingly, and we never for one second had any doubts, concerns or worries about anything.
The day before our wedding we called in with table place names and favours and when I walked into the function room and seen it all decorated for us the next day I was blown away. The room, table decorations, and seat covers were gorgeous and the rustic autumn theme that Jason had provided was idyllic. The attention to detail was beautiful and we were absolutely delighted at how everything had turned out.
On the day itself, everything was flawless. We had the best day ever and cannot thank Hugh Stephen and Jason enough for the seamless service and hospitality that they provided. We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding reception at Green Valley, and that picture that I have in my head of the function room all set up ready for us is definitely up there with my favourite memories of the whole day.

"Our wedding reception was held at Green Valley Golf Academy on the 26th of August 2017. This venue came highly recommended! We even attended a few weddings here before our own and we were very impressed.
Green valley and all of their staff are very attentive and strive to make your big day extra special. They managed to cater for our 110 guests with ease. The food was absolutely delicious and presented wonderfully.
Decor was breath taking! Totally exceeded themselves. We had requested a few special extras such as a memorial table, balloon release and fireworks to finish the night - all to which was absolutely no hassle to staff at all."

"Caroline and I were Married on 28th January 2016 in Glasgow. Six weeks later we had the pleasure of holding our wedding celebration at Green Valley Golf Academy on Saturday the 5th of March.
To say we were not disappointed would be a gross understatement!
When Caroline and I started to plan our reception we had a clear vision of what we wanted and on seeing it all put in place on the day it exceeded our wildest expectations, the place looked stunning!
Richard and the rest of staff really pulled out all the stops to give us a night to remember. The smallest of touches really make the biggest of difference and the Green Valley staff certainly realise that when they set up their functions.
I can't recommend them highly enough and all our guests who travelled far and wide had nothing but very high praise... 5 star service from the best wedding venue in the area bar none

"We cannot fault Green Valley in anything in relation to the planning and organisation of our wedding day and on the actual day itself. We had such a clear picture of what we wanted our reception to look like and Jason worked so closely with me to make sure my vision came together!
No ask was too much and I was made to feel so comfortable when asking questions or requesting changes here and there. Hugh and Stephen were fantastic in the lead up to the event also, making the planning of the wedding day stress free and faultless.
The place looked amazing on the day! Everything to the specification we wanted and more... Jason really homed in on our vintage theme and added bits here and there to make it all in sync.
The staff were friendly and polite to all our guests and the bride and groom were made to feel like VIP's on the day! I'm so sad it's all over as I really enjoyed working with the team at Green Valley.
Real, personal service - would recommend one million times over!

"We had the perfect Wedding Reception at Green Valley Golf Academy. All the fine details came together amazingly with the help of the brilliant staff who could not have been any friendlier or any more obliging – no request was too much, no matter how small the detail.
The setting was beautiful – from the wonderful table settings and décor and lighting to the relaxing marquee and the beautiful beer garden where the adults and kids all enjoyed the sunshine. "Green Valley was the only venue we viewed when we decided to set a date and we are so glad. We fell in love with it when we went to view and booked up straight away.
We had the most amazing Wedding day and could not fault anything from the day. All our guests really enjoyed themselves and have all been commenting on the venue, the meal, the buffet etc. Quite a few have even said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time.
The staff are all really friendly and happy to help. They go out of their way to make sure your day is special. The great thing is they take care of everything, meal, decoration, buffet therefore making it that little bit less stressful.

"Me and my husband had our wedding meal and reception at Green Valley on the 1st of March 2013. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating on the lead up to the wedding and tried to fore-fill all our wants and needs.
On the day of the wedding they had it decorated to our requests and all our guests commented on how beautiful it looked.
I am under the understanding that we were one of the first wedding party's to have both the meal and reception at this venue and were very pleased with the outcome and as we can see from further updates of pictures they have grown from strength to strength.
